# Connect your reMarkable Tablet

To sync your PDFs to your reMarkable tablet, you need to connect it to Remarcal.

1. Ensure your reMarkable tablet is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer or via USB.
2. On your reMarkable tablet, follow one of these paths based on your software version:
   • Older Software Version:
     • Menu > Settings > Help > Copyright and licenses > General information
   • Newer Software Versions:
     • Menu > Settings > General > About > Copyright and licenses > General information
3. Note the IP address and password provided.
4. Open Remarcal and navigate to the “Connect reMarkable” section.
5. Enter the IP address and password to connect your reMarkable tablet.
